The Watershed Improvement Grant was the final phase of the KAWS Educational TMDL Bacteria Plan project. The Report "SAVE MONEY AND TIME" was printed and two watersheds were targeted for the publication to be used to address e-coli bacteria issues. The two watersheds were the Delaware watershed above Perry Lake and Fall River watershed above Fall River Lake.
A quarterly newsletter (4 issues) was produced and distributed which highlighted the practices from the SM&T publication in the Fall River Watershed. The newsletter offered the advantage of putting ideas and concepts in front of producers more frequently and in a timely manner.
